1 Peter 1:14 NLT Live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then.

Ephesians 4:1-4, NLT Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.

Romans 12:1-2, NLT And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

PRAYER:
Thank you God, because you are a good Father to us. Thank you because we are your beloved children! We want to live as God’s obedient children – We want to honor God with our lives every day!

Please continue to lead us, strengthen us, and encourage us, as we seek to obey you each day. May we always listen for God’s voice, May we keep hearing God’s voice, and May we continually obey God. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
