Dear Friends,
We can’t do anything of substance without Jesus.
We can’t do anything that lasts without Jesus.
We can’t do anything that truly matters without Jesus.
YES. Without Jesus we can do NOTHING!

Jesus says without me you can do nothing:
John 15:4, ESV Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.
John 15:5, ESV I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

On the other hand…
When we’re connected to Jesus, we can do ALL things that matter.
With Jesus, we can accomplish infinitely more than we could ever accomplish on our own.
With Jesus, we can truly become who God created us to be.
With Jesus, we can do ALL things!

Jesus says all things are possible with God:
Matthew 19:26, NIV Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Philippians 4:13, NKJV I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Dear Friends – Without Jesus, we can do nothing; With Jesus, we can do all things! Without Jesus, we cannot bear true and lasting fruit. Jesus is the True Vine, and we are the branches. Jesus wants us to be healthy, fruit producing branches that glorify God. When we are connected to Jesus, the Vine, we will produce fruit – thus blessing others and glorifying God!

John 15:8-9, ESV By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.

Dear Friends: When we abide in Jesus, stay in Jesus, and remain in Jesus; we can do all things to the glory of God! With God, all things are possible: Things that would be impossible to do in our own power become possible when we abide and grow in Jesus!

Job 42:2, ESV I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Luke 1:37, NLT For nothing is impossible with God.

So what’s the takeaway from all this?
Let us continue to Trust God daily, Fixing our eyes on Jesus. May we always remember that without Jesus we can do nothing, but with Jesus we can do all things! Our Mighty God is able!
Proverbs 3:5-6, ESV Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
