When we help others, we help ourselves
“In helping others, we shall help ourselves,
For whatever good we give out completes the circle and comes back to us.” ~ Flora Edwards
Dear Friends, please be reminded: When we help others, we help ourselves. When we help each other, we are helping ourselves!
May we always remember this!
When we help others, we do so not thinking of what we will receive in return. But whether or not we realize it, when we help others, we actually help ourselves. It’s really true – It’s just the way it is.
Dear Friends, remember – What goes around comes around!
God is looking out for you and me – Let’s look out for others!
The blessing may come quickly or it may tarry.
The blessing may come from something or someone completely unrelated to the one we help.
The blessing may come as an unanticipated side effect of helping others.
The blessing may be immediate. It may be continual. It may be in the future.
But the blessing will come.
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15:58, NIV
Dear Lord, we need your help.
Help us to have open eyes, so we can quickly see opportunities to help others.
Help us to continually grow in wisdom, love and compassion.
Help us to help others as we have the opportunity.
Help us to excel at loving others, as you have loved us.
Help us to remember that when we help others, we help ourselves!
“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full – pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” ~ Luke 6:38, NLT
