2 Corinthians 12:8-10, NIV Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. Dear Friends: First, we have to make sure we are not living in willful disobedience to God. Persistent, unconfessed and unrepentant sin is definitely one reason why our prayers may go unanswered. So is unforgiveness/refusing to forgive others when they have wronged us. (whether or not they ask for forgiveness!)

Psalm 66:18, NIV If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;
Psalm 66:18, NLT If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

Matthew 6:14-15, NLT If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Dear Friends, God answers prayers. But sometimes, God doesn’t answer our prayers the way we want Him to. Sometimes, God’s answer to our prayer is “yes”, sometimes His answer is “no”, and sometimes His answer is “wait.”

Summary: By God’s grace, you keep on trusting God, and you keep on fixing your eyes on God. Please hang in there, don’t give up, & please, don’t take your eyes away from God!

Yes, our faithful God is on our side, and we can trust Him!
