When Anxiety Overwhelms You

You know you shouldn’t worry,
You know you shouldn’t fear.
You know anxiety doesn’t help,
You know worrying won’t change a thing.

Yet anxiety looms, it threatens, it tortures:
Overwhelming your mind, your thoughts, and your heart.

You mull over the past, dwelling in deep, painful regret
You worry about the future, of things that could go terribly wrong
You desperately want “snap out of it” and make the best of what you have,
But anxiety seems to overwhelm you, hurt you, and imprison you.

Dear Friend, ENOUGH is ENOUGH ~ Jesus has overcome!

By God’s grace, you will take back what belongs to you – PEACE that Jesus gives you!
