Whatever You Focus On Increases. Focus On The Good.

Good Morning, Dear Friends!

Today, I am being reminded that Whatever you focus on increases. Whatever you focus on grows. Whatever you focus on gets bigger. So, it just makes sense to focus on the good.

Philippians 4:8, NIV …whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.

So today, I choose to focus on the good.

I choose to focus on things that are good, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy.

I choose to focus on things that inspire gratitude, joy and peace, NOT things that evoke worry, anxiety and stress.

I choose to focus on things that lift me up, not things that drag me down.

I choose to focus on the goodness in my life and in the lives of others.

I choose to focus on the good!

Focus on God’s Peace:
Philippians 4:6-7, BSB Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Focus on God’s Goodness:
Isaiah 26:3-4, ESV You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.

Focus on the good around you.
Romans 12:9, NIV Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Good in, Good out…
Romans 12:17, ESV Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all.

Focus on the good!

Prayer:
Dear Lord, please help me to continually focus on the good, so that it may keep increasing and getting bigger, all to the glory of your name, Amen.
