So, what is God’s will for my life? What is God’s purpose for my life? How do I find out God’s will for my life? God’s will for my life is that I have abundant life here on earth, and that I have eternal life once my time on earth is over.

When we have a personal relationship with God, everything else will fall into place!
Matthew 6:33, NLT Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

When we have a personal relationship with God, we will no doubt learn what God’s will for our lives is. God will guide us, teach us, and help us. Our part is to trust God and rely on him, and seek his face continually. Our priority is to grow in our personal relationship with God! This is the most important way to live in God’s will for our lives. When we do this, everything else will naturally fall into place.

Jeremiah 29:13, ESV You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Proverbs 3:5-6, ESV Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Isaiah 58:11, NLT The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.
Romans 8:28, NLT And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

What God’s will is not
Walking in God’s will does not mean we will never make mistakes. Following God’s plans for our lives does not mean we will always live in financial prosperity, in perfect health, or that everything will always seem perfect in our lives.

Walking in God’s will means that God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory. Trusting God’s plan means you can trust that God will always help you, and that God will give you the strength to endure and overcome. God’s will for my life is a growing personal relationship with him, always knowing that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
