Trust In The Lord And Do Good.

Bible Verse Of The Day:
“Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” ~ Psalm 37:3-4, NIV

Trust in the Lord and do good. I am reminded this morning that “Trusting God” and “Doing good” should always go hand in hand.

If we do good without trusting God, our goodness falls short.
~ See John 15:4-5

If we Trust God without doing good, our faith is useless.
~ See James 2:14-17

So, we must do both. By God’s grace, we must trust in the Lord and do good! These two important things go hand in hand, and the order is very important.

We must trust God and do good. When we put our trust in God FIRST, He will lead us aright and show us what it means to “do good.” He will make our paths straight and prosper our efforts to do good, by His grace.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.”
~ Proverbs 3:5-6, NLT

Micah 6:8, NLT the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

1 Corinthians 10:31, ESV So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us to always Trust in the Lord and do good to the glory of God. Amen.
