Dear Friends, I am being reminded today, that too much talk leads to sin.

When we talk too much, we are more likely to eventually find ourselves saying something inappropriate, something we will later regret, or something otherwise questionable. If we don’t intentionally control our tongues, we can very easily land ourselves in big trouble!

Dear Friends,
Too much talk leads to gossip.
Too much talk leads to comparison, distractions, negative attitudes, and discontentment.
Too much talk leads to lying and deceit.
Too much talk leads to arguments, hurt feelings and misunderstandings.
Too much talk can even cause you to get a bad deal in a transaction.
Yes. Too much talk leads to sin!

Prayer
Dear Lord, please help us always remember that there is time for everything. Help us remember that there is a time to be silent and a time to speak. O Lord, please help us to remember how important it is to control our tongues. Help us not to talk too much, but instead to consistently speak helpful, wise and encouraging words that will benefit all those who hear them. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
