This Is Not Stupid Faith.

This Is Not Stupid Faith.

11/11/2018
Good Morning, Dear Friends! As many of you know, my precious father just turned 75.

We are very grateful to God for this blessing, and we have continued to share words of gratitude as well as fond thoughts about my Dad. ❤ 😀 ❤

In the midst of all our celebrations, this testimony came about, as shared by my dear Sister Ayo and our dear Uncle Innocent, who along with his wife Aunty Vicky lovingly and sacrificially taught me, my sisters, and many many other community children at Sunday School and our singing “Happiness Club”, for decades! I have been truly blessed by this testimony and I would love to share it with you all. I hope this is a blessing to you and yours!

***This part below was written by my precious big sister, Ayo. ❤

Dear family, Be blessed by this testimony shared by Uncle Innocent in relation to our dearest Daddy. 👏 (Context: I had shared many quotes by Daddy on various posts on Facebook)

I keep learning that even when something is not going the way you expect,
Believe that God turns things around so beautifully in ways we least expect 👏

We can’t put Him in a box
We wait on Him
We trust in Him anyhow …

By Uncle Innocent:
“Happy Birthday sir. Ayo, good job capturing these thoughts. Permit me to share something here. I invited your very busy dad to speak to our Sunday School class in 1985.

Unfortunately there was a mixup of the date and he had another appointment the same day. I drove down to your house to remind him only to see him about to drive off for the other engagement.

Listen to what he said to me: “This is not stupid faith. Go back and The Lord will use my absence today in your meeting for His glory.”

I took him at his word, came back to the Sunday School class and as we were rounding off, I asked the students what they would like us to teach them the following year. One of the students responded with a question: “Uncle, why don’t you teach us about the Holy Spirit?”

I saw that question as a rebuke from the Lord for not teaching the children about the Holy Spirit in all the 11 years we had taught in the Sunday School.

My brand new wife and I decided to teach the class about the Holy Spirit for 6 weeks and shortly after, ministered Baptism in the Holy Spirit to members of your class. That set off a revival in the Quarters that eventually led to the setting up of The Anointed Fellowship, Beacons and QYCF and then Bubble.

It was indeed not a “stupid faith”. He spoke faith that transformed a generation for good. Please pay attention to every detail of those words you reported that [your father] said to you and your siblings. I had the opportunity of listening and believing ONE thing he told me, just ONCE and it transformed my life and ministry. Please listen to his words. They are anointed.”

WE WAIT ON YOU LORD THROUGH IT ALL IN LIFE.
THROUGH OUR JOYS, DISAPPOINTMENTS, RUDE SHOCKS, PRECIOUS CELEBRATIONS And HAPPY EXPECTED ENDINGS …
THROUGH IT ALL…
HERE WE ARE SEND US LORD, USE US LORD. 🙏
(Amen.)
