Dear Friends, Today’s devotional is a prayer based on Isaiah chapter 11 verse 2. This very encouraging scripture is actually a prophecy from the Old Testament, foretelling the birth and the ministry of Jesus Christ on earth.

Dear Friends, My prayer for you today is this:
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on you,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and strength,
The Spirit of knowledge and the the fear of the LORD.

May we all continually surrender our hearts and lives to the work of The Holy Spirit in us.
May the fruit of the Spirit always be evident in our lives.
May our lives be a shining light to others, and
May the name of the Lord always be glorified in our lives. (Amen.)
