The subject of humility has come back to my mind again and again recently. I have never realized how much I needed to grow in humility until now. The Calling of Humility seems so clear to me now – I need this so much, help me Lord!

Dear Friends, I am reminded that:

Humility is what keeps bringing us back to God.

Humility is what makes us know without a doubt that we need God at every step, at every turn.

Humility is what helps us in letting go and letting God, and not be bent on having to tell our own side of the story or make them understand by all means.

Humility is what will make you seek God’s approval, and know that pleasing God is all that truly matters.

Humility is what will make you obey God in what he calls you to do, no matter how insignificant or “unglamorous” it might seem.

Humility is what keeps you fixing your eyes on God.

Humility is what helps you to seek God’s favor above man’s.

Humility is what helps you trust God no matter what!

Once again, I am reminded that Humility is the key to success!

Thank you Lord, for the Calling of Humility. Thank you for showing me how much I need this. Thank you for being so patient with me.

Dear Lord, please teach me to be humble. Dear Lord, please grant me a heart of humility and patience and faith. Dear Lord, please help me to continually grow in humility and confident trust in God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
