Speak Words of Life, Not Death

Dear Friends, I am reminded today that as children of God and agents of love, we are called to speak words of life, not death.
Proverbs 18:21, NLT The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
Proverbs 12:18, GNT Thoughtless words can wound as deeply as any sword, but wisely spoken words can heal.
Proverbs 15:4, Ad. Gentle words bring life and health.
Proverbs 18:21, ESV Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

Dear Friends, Our words are extremely powerful.
Our words can bring life to others, or they can bring death.
May we choose to speak words of life to others!
May we choose to speak words of life, not death.
May we choose to speak words of kindness, not cruelty.
May we choose to speak words of wisdom, not folly.
May we choose to speak words of love, not hatred.
May we choose to speak words that edify,
May we choose to speak words that heal,
May we choose to speak words that encourage.
May our words bring peace and joy to others
May our words bring healing and strength to others
May our words bring life wherever we go!
By God’s grace and with God’s help, may we continually choose to speak words of life… Kind, Wise and Thoughtful words that strengthen souls; always to the glory of God. Amen.
