My prayer and heart’s desire for today and always is – Show me your ways Lord! Show me your way Lord – Your way is the best way!

I have tried doing things my way, and I have tried doing things your way. It is abundantly clear that your way is the best way! Show me your ways O Lord, please teach me the way to go every minute of every day!

Show me your ways Lord, and guide me aright! Let your favor and your hand be evident in my life! Let your joy and your peace continually overflow in my life! While we wait for Jesus – We were made for more!

Important reminders as we daily seek to follow God’s Ways:
Matthew 16:24-26, NIV Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
John 8:31-32, NLT Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Let’s continue today’s devotion by singing “The cry of my heart” by Terry Butler.
Here are the lyrics to the first verse:
“Teach Me Your Holy Ways O Lord,
So I Can Walk In Your Truth;
Teach Me Your Holy Ways O Lord,
Make Me Wholly Devoted To You.”
(Amen!)

Jeremiah 6:16, NIV This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.
How to find rest in God

Isaiah 42:16, NIV I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. God’s got your back!

“Teach me O Lord to know your way,
Teach me O Lord, to love you, more and more,
Teach me O Lord, to serve you, daily as I grow,
Teach me O Lord, to know your way.”
(Happiness Club Song)
