Morning Friends! I am here to remind you once again to please, Seek God First in all things! Dear Friends, Seek God first in all you do: Always go to God first!
Yes, it is very wise to regularly seek and carefully consider advice from trusted people, but ultimately, please, seek God first in everything you do.
Why should you seek God first in all things? Please keep reading for more on this, after Bible Verses below. Finally, scroll down for a practical example showing why it is so important to seek God first. Related: 7 Important Daily Bible Reminders

Why should you seek God first in all things?
Why should you seek God first in all you do?
God created you and wants to help you (Is 43:1-2)
God loves you more than anyone else ever will (Ps 103:11)
God always wants what’s best for you (Jeremiah 29:11)
God knows all and sees all
God sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10)
God sees the big picture (Job 28:24)
God is for us – God is on your side!
Here’s a practical example. I came across an article online calling home ownership an American Nightmare. It was written by a self made millionaire who asserted that buying a home was a financial mistake for him, and if he could go back in time, he would not have bought a home until after he had become a millionaire. He maintains that a home is a liability, not an asset, as you have to keep spending in order to keep it. He says unless you have millions in the bank, don’t buy a home.
In the same breath, I read another article saying just the opposite. Another self made millionaire warned that not buying a home can be the “single biggest mistake” a person can make. He emphasizes the benefits of home ownership, saying it is an “escalator to wealth”, and that buying a home was the smartest investment decision he had made.
So, who’s right? And who’s wrong? The point of the matter is, when you go to people for advice, they will tell you what has worked for them, or what they have heard has worked for others. They will be very passionate about their beliefs, and often will not be able to see another point of view. Your friends and loved ones also want what’s best for you, but remember, Only God sees the big picture! Only God sees the end from the beginning! Only God truly knows what is best for you.
So please, remember to seek God first in all things. Ask God for wisdom, and He will direct you. Ask God for guidance and peace of mind, and be strong in the Lord. God can even direct you to ask the right person or the right resource for your particular situation, so you can ask the right questions, and wisely and carefully consider all of the information you have available to you. Then By God’s grace, you can make the right decisions, trusting God for the best because you know that God is for us, and that God is with us always. Amen. See also: Follow God’s Heart
