You may already know ~ God is good! God is merciful! God is love! Yes, God is the essence of goodness, mercy and love. But sometimes, it can be so easy to forget what God has done for us!

Maybe we really want something and don’t have it yet. Maybe we are going through challenges, adversity, tough times. Maybe we are feeling overwhelmed, or we might be feeling discouraged about something. Whatever we may be going through, if we are not careful, we may find ourselves quickly forgetting what God has done for us. We may be tempted to focus on the negatives, or we may have temporarily forgotten who our source actually is – i.e., God.

We have to be intentional about Remembering What God has done for us. This is why David said in the Bible ~ “Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.” (Psalm 103:2, NLT) May we never take God’s goodness; God’s unfailing love; God’s faithfulness; and God’s mercy for granted. Even when we don’t understand, May we always remember to remember God’s wonderful deeds in our lives. So help us God, Amen.
