Reflecting On God’s Overflowing Love For Us.

Dear Friends, I listened and sang along to Mercy Chinwo’s Excess Love as I cleaned the kitchen earlier this morning. I have probably listened to her songs a million times now. 🙂

As I sang the lyrics “Jesus you love me too much oh… Too much ooo… Excess love oh…”, I reflected on life and everything going on right now… and I am encouraged as I remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus!

Life has certainly had its ups and downs. Many of us have gone through, and are still going through challenges that can test our faith and trust in the Lord! Sometimes we have big questions, and we may feel down, discouraged or in despair.

At other times, life seems absolutely perfect, everything seems to go just right, and we are bubbling over with smiling, laughter, joy and gratitude!

Today I am being reminded that no matter what is going on within us or around us, GOD LOVES US more than we can even imagine… Jesus loves us so much… “too much”!

May we all be encouraged as we sing and declare: Jesus you love me too much ooo… because NOTHING can separate us from the love of God! Amen.
