Good Morning, Dear Friends! 💕💕
This morning, I am reflecting on many things that have happened to me and around me, in my relationships, conversations, observations… and I am once again reminded that people are people, and God is God!
People are people. People are fickle. People’s opinions, allegiances, convictions, feelings and emotions change over time. God is God. God never changes.
People are people. People make promises and often fail to keep them. God is God. God is faithful to His promises.
People are people. People can be kind but can also be unkind. People can be caring but can also be inconsiderate. People can be up one day and down another day. People can declare their unending love for you, and later say they are not so sure. God is God. God’s love is steadfast. God’s love is unfailing. God’s love never ends.
People are people. People’s memories can be selective and unreliable. People can be manipulative and deceitful. People can hurt you deeply with their careless words. People can say one thing to your face and say something else behind your back. God is God. God’s got your back, and God will never forget you.
People are people. People may love you with everything they have, and try their absolute best to help you solve any problem you have. But people have limited knowledge, power, and wisdom. God is God. God is all powerful and mighty. God is our source. God knows all and sees all. Everything we have comes from God. God is in control.
People are people. People may have the best intentions but fall short due to one reason or another. God is God. God never fails.
People are people. God is God!
So let’s
Seek God first in all things,
Remember that God’s opinion is the only one that truly matters,
Don’t let other people’s actions affect you,
Don’t take things to heart (after all, people are people!)
Don’t lose heart,
Keep Trusting God, and
Keep Praising God.
