Dear Friends, I ruminated on this scripture again this morning as I read and prayed 12 Bible Verses to pray over your husband. For a few minutes each morning, I try to pray those 12 scriptures along with 1 prayer from our 31 Prayers for your child for my husband, myself, and our children too.

So back to today’s verse:
Psalm 107:9, NIV For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

Hmm.

Dear Friends, my prayer for us all today is 3 fold:
1. May we continually hunger and thirst after God, not after an endless cycle of stuff!
May we all realize that only God will truly satisfy our hunger, not more and more stuff!
Matthew 5:6, ESV Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Jeremiah 29:13, ESV You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Psalm 42:1, NIV As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.

2. May we continually stand firm as we press on in our journey to becoming who God created us to be.
Philippians 3:13-14, NLT No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

3. May we continually be filled, content and satisfied with good things!
May we be excited to EXCEL in being who God wants us to be, doing what God wants to do, and going where God wants us to go!
