#1 The process of doing all we can to live in peace with everyone will sometimes cause us discomfort and maybe even some pain and tears. But it’s worth it – we have an end goal in mind: PEACE… ~ Peacefulness!

#2 God is our solid rock and help, and does not leave us to figure it all out on our own. God is with us always, to help us to live at peace with others; and to help us live at peace with everyone.
Isaiah 41:10, NIV So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

#3 We often want peace NOW, but God tells us to wait. Do what you can, Trust that God is in control, and give it some time. Sometimes we are tempted to rush the process even when people are not ready, but we have to learn to do all we can, take it to God in prayer, and relax. Don’t push it, Give it some time… letting go and letting God complete the work He has begun.
Philippians 1:6, ESV And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

#4 God often uses these things for a reason, so we can learn, so they can learn, and so others can learn. Don’t worry, Trust God – God will work everything out for the best.
Romans 8:28, ESV And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

#5 Sometimes, no matter how much you try, some people will not like you, and that’s ok! We were never promised that everyone would like us or be nice to us. You can’t always influence other people’s thoughts, feelings or actions towards you – but you can certainly control your reactions and your chosen attitude! By God’s grace, stay true to who you are no matter what – a child of God and an ambassador for Christ.
