12/2/2016 – Thoughts
I just woke up from one of the most vivid dreams I can remember ever having. It was so realistic! When I woke up, I couldn’t believe I had only been dreaming!

In my dream, I lived in a house, I had my friends and family members around. There were so many things going on – things to do, people to see, problems that needed my urgent attention, things that needed to be sorted out. I had a lot on my plate! I thought about how to tackle some of the problems in order, and I started making a list on my phone, going about everything one at a time.

And then I woke up. When I woke up, I immediately thought of all the issues I had been urgently trying to take care of in the dream. For a second, they still seemed so vivid, so urgent! Everything crumbled within a few seconds though – it had all been temporary! This made me think of the fact that life is so temporary! Life is like a dream – it’s only temporary. Life is a journey – Heaven is our final destination!

May I always remember that this world is not my home. Yes, life is precious, and life is a gift. I certainly do not take this gift for granted! By God’s grace I will always live in the present and make the best of every day that God blesses me with – each day is a precious gift! However, I must never forget that life is temporary – there’s much more beyond this life! Things that seem so important, so urgent, and so crucial now, will one day crumble into dust, into smoke, into vapor, just like a dream. Life is like a dream!

What will last beyond this life? LOVE!!! Everything important in this life is based on LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Oh may we always remember that LOVE is the most important thing of all! By God’s grace, May we all excel in loving others! As we do everything in love, May we all produce fruit that will last, to the glory of God. Amen.
