Dear Friends, I recently came across a version of the above saying, and it is such a beautiful reminder that life is a gift, and that everything we have comes from God!

Here is the Original Quote:
“What you are is God’s gift to you, what you become is your gift to God.” ~ Hans Urs von Balthasar

Dear Friends – Our lives, all that we are, and everything we have, are all a gift from God to us. On the other hand, we have also been blessed with the gift of free will, so whatever we choose to do with our lives is our gift to God!

Encouraging Reminders From The Bible:
John 10:10, ESV The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Romans 6:23b, NLT The free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
