If You Think You Are Standing Firm, Be Careful That You Don’t Fall!

Good Morning, Dear Friends!

My husband and I recently watched the movie “Bad Education”. It was a good watch! A reminder to me that there is potential for good and bad in all of us! We have to be careful and intentional to nurture the right things and not give room for temptation, otherwise it is a slippery slope to getting ourselves into a whole lot of trouble – morally, spiritually, and otherwise!

As we watched the movie, I kept thinking of the scripture: “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” (1 Corinthians 10:12, NKJV) Help us Lord!

I am also being reminded to do my own job properly and thoroughly, regardless of what position I ever find myself in! I am reminded to never put a blind trust in other people, no matter what things look like! Appearances can be deceiving!

Only God sees each of our hearts, our strengths, and our true weaknesses. Pay attention to your own work, so that you are never ashamed! So help us God, Amen!
