Learning To Rely On God.

Bible Verses Of The Day:
2 Corinthians 1:8-9, NLT We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.

Dear Friends, It has been said that When God is all you have, you’ll realize that God is all you need. Today’s Bible Verse reminds us that indeed, Jesus is all we need!

When we are in trouble,
When our hearts are overwhelmed,
When we feel like we are at the end of our ropes,
When we feel like we can’t handle it anymore,
When we feel crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure…

May we stop relying on ourselves and learn to rely on God!
May we fix our eyes on God and draw encouragement, comfort and hope from God!
May we trust in God’s unfailing love, and live like we believe that God is for us!
Amen.

Nahum 1:7, MSG God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help, No matter how desperate the trouble.

Ephesians 3:16-18, NLT I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

Isaiah 41:10, NIV So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Romans 15:13, NIV May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Amen)
