Dear Friends, let us always remember that not every open door is from God. No, not every seemingly good opportunity will lead to blessings and peace (Proverbs 14:12). This is not cause for panic or fear, but a friendly reminder of how important it is to trust God, seek God, and rely on God completely in all we do. So, How do you know if something is from God or not? Find below 5 Ways to help determine if something is from God or not.
1. Does it require me to be dishonest, deceitful, or unethical?
Proverbs 21:6, TLB Dishonest gain will never last, so why take the risk?
Proverbs 6:16-19, ESV There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

2. Does it require me be hateful, unkind, or inconsiderate to others?
1 Corinthians 16:14, ESV Let all that you do be done in love. (i.e. Let love rule your life)
3. Does it require me to disobey God?
1 John 2:3, ESV And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.
4. Does it help or hurt my witness for Christ?
Does this thing require me to do something out of character as a follower of Christ?

5. Does it require me to please man above pleasing God; Or Trust man above trusting God?
