Is The Lord God Or Jesus Christ? Is The Lord God Or Jesus?

Good Morning, Dear Friends! 💖

Question: “I am trying to understand scriptures better but I am often confused. Is the “Lord” God or Jesus?”

Answer: “Lord” in the Bible is a title that depicts authority and power. “Lord” in the Bible is used to describe both God and Jesus.

The Oxford Dictionary describes the meaning of the word “Lord” as “someone or something having power, authority, or influence; a master or ruler.”

So the word “Lord” is a title that signifies authority, power and influence. In the Bible, The Lord is used to describe and designate both God and Jesus.

Dear Friends,
God is the Lord of all, and Jesus is Lord! Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory, and the Holy Spirit is God’s own Spirit. God is in Jesus, and Jesus is in God (See John 10:38b). God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit are equal in union, love, and purpose. To know Jesus is to know The Father, because Jesus showed us the Father (John 14:8-9), and Jesus does what pleases the Father (John 8:29). This is why they are referred to as God In Three Persons The Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Today and always, you and I declare: God is the Lord of my life!

We will also declare: Jesus is the Lord of my Life!

Why? Because God is the Lord of all, and Jesus is Lord!
