I Can’t Control Anyone Else, but I Can Control Myself.

Dear Friends, I am being reminded today, that I really cannot control anybody else, but I can always control myself, by God’s grace.

I can’t control other people’s actions, but I can control my actions and my reactions.

I can’t control other people’s words, but I can control my words.

I can’t control other people’s thoughts, attitudes and behavior towards me and towards others, but I can control my thoughts, my attitude and my behavior to everyone I come in contact with.

I can’t control other people’s choices, but I can control my own choices, by God’s grace.

No, I can’t control anyone else, but I can control myself.

By God’s grace and with God’s help,
I can choose to treat others with kindness and respect;
I can choose to move on and not dwell on the past;
I can choose to have a positive attitude;
I can choose to do my best in everything I do;
I can choose to believe the best about people;
I can choose to repay evil with good;
I can choose to have an attitude of gratitude;
I can choose to let love rule my life; and
I can choose to continue trusting God everyday, as I seek to continue living right for God.

Today’s Bible Verse:
Romans 12:2, NLT Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Amen.)
