Humility is the key to success.
Key Verse ~ “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” (Proverbs 25:9 , NIV)

Dear Friends, I read the above scripture a while ago, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Friends, Humility is the true key to success! When we are humble, success is guaranteed because God will lead us aright! Yes, Humility is the key to success!

The Bible also reminds us that Humility is the key to greatness:
James 4:10, ESV Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
Matthew 23:12, NIV For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Finally, we are reminded that Humility is the key to unity:
Ephesians 4:2-3, NIV Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Dear Friends, Why is humility the key to success?

When we are humble, we will seek God first in all things.
When we are humble, we will make Jesus our priority.
When we are humble, we will be spending time in the secret place.
When we are humble, we will seek God’s approval above all others.
When we are humble, we will seek God’s favor above man’s!

When we are humble we will ask for help when we need it.
When we are humble, we will help others when they need our help.
When we are humble, we all succeed!

When we are humble, we do not trust in ourselves, but in God.
When we are humble, we have a healthy fear of God, which leads to WISDOM.
When we are humble, we will not hesitate in obeying God.
When we are humble, we will grow in every way we are supposed to grow!

When we are humble, we will forgive one another
When we are humble, we will learn from one another
When we are humble, we will consider advice from others
When we are humble, we will be successful!

Friends, let’s remember:
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom;
Wisdom leads to success; and
Humility is the key to success; because humility makes us fear God and rely on Him!
Humility helps us to help others and receive help from others! Humility helps us to GROW in every way! Truly, Humility helps us SUCCEED!

Prayer for Humility & Success
Dear Lord, we remember that to be successful is to know your will AND to do it! We want to be successful, dear Lord! Please help us to always remember how important it is to be humble! Please help us to always remember that humility is the true key to success! Please, help us to be humble and successful, to the glory of God! In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
