Grateful for the mundane

Today, I am especially grateful for the mundane.

I am grateful for vacuuming
I am grateful for laundry
I am grateful for mopping

I am grateful for dishes
I am grateful for cooking
I am grateful for cleaning

I am grateful for errands
I am grateful for shopping
I am grateful for waiting!

Yes. I am grateful, oh so grateful, for the mundane things in my life.

I am extremely grateful for the mundane because I am alive and well! I can move! I can help care for my home and my family! I can interact with and enjoy my loved ones!

I can hope! I can dream! I can plan! I am motivated and I have so much to look forward to, by God’s grace!

Regularly experiencing the mundane also helps me savor the interesting things in my life even more: I am grateful for the interesting and exciting things in my life!

I am grateful for family and friends, and for the love and fellowship we share!

I am grateful for the opportunity to write! 😀

I am grateful for the opportunity to do work that I thoroughly enjoy!

I am grateful for opportunities for learning and growing every day!

I am grateful for exciting projects and ideas!

I am grateful for the opportunity to encourage and be encouraged, every single day!
