Dear God, Please Give Me The Passion To Do Your Will!

Jeremiah 20:9, NLT But if I say I’ll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones!
Psalm 119:162, NLT I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.

Dear Friends, please join us today as we each say this prayer to God:

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you once again today with a thankful heart!
Thank you for your goodness, for your kindness, for your faithfulness, and for your unfailing love.
Thank you Lord because you are a good father to me!

Thank you for making me who I am;
Thank you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made!
Thank you for continually helping me on my journey to becoming who God created me to be.
Thank you for teaching me and re-teaching me,
Thank you Lord for your patience with me!

Dear Lord, I want to do your will!
I want to accomplish what you have placed me on this earth to do!
I want to fulfill your purpose for me!

Please continually show me your ways Lord!
Please continually lead me and guide me in your truth!
Give me a passion to do your will!
Give me a passion for serving God and others!
Give me a passion to know you more!

I want you to smile on me,
I want to make you happy!
I want to be a person after your heart,
Help me to always get back up when I stumble!

Ignite your fire in me Lord!
Your Holy Fire consumes me but does not destroy me!
Your Holy Fire brings out the best in me!

Remove anything that is not of you in me Lord:
Purify me through and through!
Give me a burning desire to do your will Lord;
Give me an undeniable passion to do what I was made to do!

May your name always be glorified in my life, dear Lord;
May your will always be done in my life! Amen.

Developing A Passion to do God’s Will
Romans 12:2, NIV Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Amen!)
1 Peter 4:2, NLT You won’t spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God. (Amen!)
