Each One Can Reach One ~ Each One Reach One!
Bible Verse Of The Day:
Matthew 25:40, NIV Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
Luke 10:27b, NIV Love your neighbor as yourself.

Earlier this morning, I was cleaning my kitchen and sorting through some mail to be recycled. I was just about ready to put a gift catalog in the recycling pile when a picture of a gift suggestion caught my eye. It was a picture of a bicycle for a girl, so she could ride to school safely.
I put the catalog down, and I wept. I wept bitterly this morning.
I didn’t even have to read what they had to say. I know the dangers young girls (and boys!) all over the world often face when traveling alone. I thought of my own two children, for the opportunity I have to drive them to school every morning, and to pick them up from school every afternoon. I thought of other children around me, who either have parents, caregivers or school buses to get them to and from school every day.
Nobody’s life is absolutely perfect, and I know we all have our needs, wants, hopes, dreams, and concerns. But being in constant fear of being kidnapped or assaulted when walking to school is a very real threat that many young girls from poor communities all over the world face today. Many young girls are forced to drop out of school because they just don’t want to risk being assaulted, beaten, or kidnapped and taken away from their families indefinitely.
Thinking, reading and hearing about all the problems in the world can be overwhelming. One can feel so helpless and so powerless, like anything you do is just a tiny little insignificant drop in an ocean of turmoil and pain. One can wonder if it’s even worth it, if what we do for others will make a difference at all.
Dear Friends,
One bicycle given to a girl in the name of Jesus won’t solve all the problems in the world. One bicycle given to a girl to bring new hope, encouragement and inspiration won’t bring about world peace. But my prayerful hope is that our gift will make a difference in the life of at least one person. And By God’s grace, God will multiply whatever we give to others, so that the impact goes far beyond what we originally imagined. Amen!
None of us can do everything to solve all the problems in this world.
None of us can lead everyone in this world to Jesus.
None of us can do it all – But we all have something to offer someone!
Each of us can reach one person and make a difference in one life.
Each one of us can reach one person and tell them about Jesus, however God gives us the opportunity.
Each one of us can do something, whatever God places on our heart to do.
We are all unique – God deals with us individually.
Our passions and what inspires/drives/moves each of one us is different – and that’s awesome!
God can use each one of us to reach another, in His own way, at His own time, using the gifts, talents, ideas and resources He has given to us!
May God grant us open eyes so we can see how we can “reach one”.
May God grant us open hearts so we can be receptive when He is speaking to us.
May God grant us open hands so we can freely give as we have freely received.
And May we always remember that God blesses our efforts to obey Him – no matter how insignificant our efforts may seem! Amen.
