Don’t Be A Source Of Stress To Others.
Dear Friends, here’s a reminder to you and to me:
Don’t be a source of stress to others.
Don’t be a source of stress to your family and friends.
Don’t be a source of stress to your parents or children.
Don’t be a source of stress to your employers or employees.
Don’t be a source of stress to your colleagues or classmates.
Don’t be a source of stress to the people in your life!
Don’t be a source of constant complaining, griping and mumbling.
Don’t be a source of constant gossip and put downs.
Don’t be a source of constant discouragement and demoralization.
Don’t be a source of rude behavior, no matter who you are dealing with.
Don’t be a source of negativity and bad attitudes!
Don’t be the one who is always quick to point out what someone is doing wrong,
Be the one who is always quick to point out what someone is doing right!
Don’t be the one who is always quick to jump to the worst possible conclusion,
Be the one who is quick to believe the best!
Don’t be the one who always finds something to complain about, nag about, or moan about,
Be the one who finds a reason to rejoice and to hope! (Remember, We have a reason to hope!)
Don’t be the one who is always quick to respond in anger,
Be the one who is quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry!
Don’t be the one who goes around sowing discord,
Be the one who is known for living in peace with others!
Don’t be the one who is knowing for taking drama and stress everywhere they go,
Be the one who brings the love of Jesus into every situation!
O Lord, please help us! We need your help, please help us Lord!
May God help us all not to be a source of stress to the people in our lives.
May we be a source of encouragement to others, not a source of stress and discouragement!
May we be a source of joy, not a source of sadness!
May we be a source of peace, not a source of chaos!
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.
Bible Verses of Encouragement:
Ephesians 4:29, NLT Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. (Harsh words can break a person’s heart)
Ephesians 4:31-32, ESV Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Philippians 2:14-15, ESV Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.
Proverbs 12:18, NIV The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
1 Corinthians 16:14, ESV Let all that you do be done in love. (Live a Life of Love)
Amen.
