Does God still love me after I sin? Does God still love me when I mess up? Does God still love me if I sin?
You have sinned. Again. Ugh. God doesn’t owe you anything, that is true. BUT despite this, God loves you so much and is ALWAYS ready to give you a second chance – that’s God’s wonderful grace – that’s God’s saving grace! Coming to Jesus does not mean we will never sin or be tempted to sin again. But the good news is, GOD is on our side! We cannot do this on our own – we need God to help us to live a victorious life, and oh how He longs to help! God wants us to prosper and grow in every way, and He is so patient with us!
Dear friend, don’t ever doubt God’s unfailing love for you! Please remember that God still has a purpose for you to fulfill on this earth – do not give up prematurely! Don’t walk away from God ~ God has not given up on you!
Proverbs 24:16, NIV though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.
Psalm 103:11 – 13, ESV For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.
Romans 6:1-2, NLT Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
So. Does God really still love me after I sin?
Of course God still loves you! Of course God still deeply cares about you! Of course God wants to see you prosper in every way! Of course God wants your complete restoration! Of course God wants to use you for his glory! Don’t give up just because you have sinned in any way, don’t give up and give in to the plan of the enemy! The enemy wants to blind you of God’s deep love for you.
Know this: The enemy does not want you to see so that you can’t live confidently as a child of God. The enemy wants you to give up on God’s saving grace! NO! Don’t let the devil rob you of your spiritual sight. Open your eyes by God’s grace, and turn to God today! Believe and Accept God’s great love and God’s forgiveness; Trusting God with your past, present and your future!
1 John 1:9, ESV If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Romans 8:1-2, ESV There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
Friend, I want you to go to God directly => Come to the throne of grace with boldness, confidence and expectation. Guess what? The blood of Jesus speaks for me and you! Confess your sins to God, and Ask God to help you live for Him. Focus on God and keep fixing your eyes on God. Ask God to help you to live a life that pleases God. Ask God to help you to grow in confidence as a child of God, relying on Him to help you. Ask God to set you free from guilt and shame, and help you to walk in the power of Christ! Trust in God, and you will not be ashamed!
Do you take out some time to spend time alone with God every day? Prayer is a two way communication with God. We talk to God, praise and worship God, and bring our requests to him. God speaks to us, and shows us how to live. He delights in us and wants to help us live lives that will please him, honor him, and glorify Him – this happens to be the best lives we can live!
Do you currently attend a church, or Do you have a group of Christians you can fellowship with? Do you have small groups at your church or in a home setting? It would be very helpful to fellowship with others regularly so that you can by God’s grace continue to grow in Christ, and be encouraged in your daily walk with God.
