Dear Friends, here’s a friendly reminder for myself and all of you today: Do your best and let God do the rest. See Part 1 & Part 2 below for an exciting discussion, along with relevant scriptures.

Part 1: Do your best in everything you do. Take it to God first, give it your all, and let God do His part.

Take it to God first
Proverbs 16:3, NIV Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. See also: Seek God first in all things

Do your best in whatever you do
Colossians 3:23-24, HCSM Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men, knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ. See also: Bible Verses about Actions, Doing Your Best

Give it your all, and leave the rest to God
Philippians 4:13, NLT For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. See also: Bible Verses for Work

Part 2: Do your best to grow in Christ every day. Do your best at living in peace with others. Remember, God blesses our efforts to obey him! Do your best in your walk with God, and let God do His part.

Dear Friends, our salvation is a free gift from God – we are definitely saved by grace. How much progress we make in our spiritual growth is however up to us. We have to make every effort to grow in the Lord by becoming more like Jesus, or we will remain stagnant in our growth.

1 Peter 2:2, NLT Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, (Make Jesus your first priority )

Ephesians 4:22-24, NLT throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God – truly righteous and holy. See also: Bible Verses about Our Behavior ; God is working through you and me

2 Timothy 2:15, NLT Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

Ephesians 4:3, NLT Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

Romans 12:18, NLT Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Romans 14:19, NIV Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Philippians 3:12, ESV Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
