Deeper understanding of God’s grace: A deeper understanding of God’s grace, God’s word, & God’s love
“Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.” ~ 1 Corinthians 2:12, ESV

I read the above scripture recently, and it made my heart smile! 😀 It also made me ponder. What a beautiful reminder! Praise God!

Ephesians 2:8-9, ESV For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Jeremiah 33:3, NIV Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. [Amen]

Lord, grant me a:
Deeper understanding of God’s grace,
Deeper understanding of God’s word, (Related: Understanding the Bible)
Deeper understanding of God’s Unfailing Love.

Today, I am reminded that:
1. I am not of this world, I am a citizen of heaven ( See Phil 3:20)

2. I have the gift of God’s Holy Spirit living inside of me ( See 1 Cor 3:16)

3. Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world ( See 1 John 4:4)

4. God has given me grace; gifts and talents; and blessings in life ( See James 1:17 ; John 1:16)

5. God wants me to understand these gifts that have been freely given to me. ( See Jeremiah 33:3)

6. I am on a daily journey in my spiritual growth, and I am growing every day, by God’s grace.

7. As I keep trusting God, He will continue to teach me, lead me, guide me, and help me understand more and more, by His grace. ( See Psalm 32:8) Praise the Lord!

Prayer
Thank you Lord Jesus because we are not of this world – we are citizens of heaven! Thank you Lord for the gift of The Holy Spirit! Thank you because we have no reason to fear or worry, because greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world!

Thank you Lord, for the numerous blessings and gifts you have given to us! Thank you Lord, for the gift of your LOVE! Thank you Lord, for the gift of your PEACE! Thank you Lord, for the gift of your GRACE! Thank you Lord, for the gift of your WORD!

Lord, please help us to live each day fixing our eyes on God. Help us to continually trust and obey! Please continue to guide us, lead us, and help us understand more and more every day. Please grant us a deeper understanding of your word every day! Please grant us a deeper understanding of your grace every day! Please grant us a deeper understanding of your love every day! May God continually grant us a DEEPER understanding of Him, His grace, His word, His gifts, and His love. Amen.

Ephesians 3:16-21, NLT I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. (Amen.)
