Dear Friends, I read the following quote on UCB Word for Today earlier today:
“We cry over what we don’t have, not realizing we might have cried twice as hard if God had given it to us.”

Oh, how so very true this is!

How often have we cried over what we don’t have, not realizing what heartache God might be saving us from?

How often have we cried over what we don’t have, forgetting to be thankful for the priceless blessings that we do have?

What if God had given us every single thing we wanted?
What if we had cried twice as hard?

Dear Friends, I wanted to share these thoughts with you today.
I pray they are a blessing and an encouragement to you!

Prayer
Dear Lord, please help us to trust in you completely. Help us remember that your plans for us are always good! O Lord, please help us to be more and more sensitive to your voice and your leading. Help us to hear you when you speak to us… and help us to obey!

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to totally and unreservedly trust you, even when we don’t understand. Help us to remember that as a child of God, God’s got your back! Lord, please help us to run our own race in contentment and perseverance, always fixing our eyes on God. May we continually cultivate thankful hearts, and May your name always be glorified in our lives, Amen.
