Dear Friends, today we are reminded to be joyful, patient, and faithful:
Romans 12:12, NIV Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Why should we be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer?

How can we be Joyful In Hope?
How can we be Patient In Affliction?
How can we be Faithful in Prayer?

1. We are strengthened so we can continue standing firm in faith.
1 Corinthians 16:13, NIV Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

2. We are reminded that God is for us.
Psalm 118:6, NASB The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

3. We are reminded that God is with us.
Matthew 28:20b, NLT And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

4. We are reminded about God’s great love for us.
John 3:1, NIV How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

5. We are reminded that Jesus is our life.
John 15:4, NIV Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

6. We are reminded that all things are possible with God.
Matthew 19:26b With God, all things are possible.

7. We are reminded that we can do all things through Christ.
Philippians 4:13, NKJV I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

8. We are reminded that God will cause everything to work together for our good!
Romans 8:28, NASB And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
James 1:4, NIV Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. Bible Verses about waiting on God

By God’s grace, we will be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.

Romans 15:13, NIV May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Numbers 6:24-26, NLT May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.

2 Corinthians 13:14, NIV May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (Amen)
