Be An Agent Of God’s Love, Mercy & Grace.

Dear Friends, we are all grateful recipients of God’s love, God’s Mercy, and God’s grace. From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another! (John 1:16, NLT)

Yes, we are fully and completely loved and cherished by God… and even when we don’t understand, we continue to trust in God’s unfailing love for us.

Today, I am being reminded that God wants us to be agents of His love, mercy and grace.

How do we do this?
We are agents of God’s love when we show love, mercy and grace to others in our thoughts, words and actions.
We are agents of God’s mercy when we are patient with others, and when we forgive others just as God forgave us.
We are agents of God’s grace when we pray for others, and pray for those who hurt us.
We are agents of Christ’s love when we surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives!

Galatians 5:22-23, TPT
But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. John 13:34, NIV A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

Ephesians 4:32, ESV Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Luke 6:36, NIV Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Psalm 46:10, ESV Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Dear Lord, we are extremely grateful for your unfailing love, mercy and grace towards us. We are so thankful that God’s mercies are new each morning! We want to be agents of your love. We want to be agents of your mercy. We want to be agents of your grace.

Please help us to fully surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit in us. Help us to stay focused on becoming who God created us to be. Help us to always remember that from your abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. Help us to always remember that love is not optional – we must love one another!

May we be agents of your love, mercy and grace today and always. May your name forever be glorified in our thoughts, words and actions – May your name forever be glorified in our lives! In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
