Pain Is Inevitable, But Take Heart – Jesus Has Overcome!

A Pain Free Existence?
I am in the middle of a most delicious breakfast as I type this. I just finished some absolutely yummy Hawaiian rolls, and I am digging into a bowl of warm hearty Jambalaya soup. I am very thankful 🙂

In this moment, as I enjoy this comforting breakfast, nothing else seems to matter.

Now my life is not perfect, and I certainly have my share of pains, aches and hurts.

I am still trusting God to answer some very specific prayers for myself and for others.

I am however reminded that it is unrealistic to expect a completely pain free existence – life thankfully has many joys, but pain is also inevitable!

John 16:33, NIV I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Psalm 18:2, ESV The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Exodus 15:2, ESV The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Romans 8:28, NLT And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Dear Friends, I pray that no matter what you might be going through today, you will know and believe that God is for you, God is with you, and God is on your side. I pray that you will remember that Jesus has overcome the world.

I pray that while we wait, while we hope, and while we trust, we will find countless more opportunities to ENJOY God’s blessings, and to give thanks!

I pray you have a great day filled with encouragement, healing, testimonies, God’s guidance, peace and strength.
