Dear Friends, Here are 5 practical ways we can support one another:

1. We support others by looking out for each other, instead of only being absorbed in the things that concern us or will directly benefit us. When we look out for others, we discover ways that will help other people progress in life, to the glory of God.

2. We support others by encouraging one another, standing up for one another, and helping one another. Our focus is lifting each other up instead of pulling each other down.

3. We support people by praying for others instead of engaging in gossip and rumors about them, even when we don’t understand their actions completely. Praying for one another is one of the practical ways we can serve one another in love!

4. We support people by looking for ways to lift up, build up, encourage and motivate, instead of being the one who always has something discouraging and critical to say. See also: 9 Bible Verses about Speaking Encouraging Words.

5. We support each other by loving each other deeply. When we let love rule, support for others will come naturally to us. (Amen!)

When we support one another, we bring glory to God and make God happy. So help us God, Amen.
