Important Lessons I Have Learned In Life: 3 Important Lessons I’ve Learned In Life.
1/14/18
Good Morning Friends! I’d like to share three out of the many important lessons I have learned in life so far. These particular 3 lessons were especially reinforced to me again and again at different points over the course of this past year. May I never forget these important lessons!
Dear Friends: May these words, scriptures and lessons be a blessing to you and yours.
May we all keep on learning and growing every day! Amen.
3 Important Lessons I’ve Learned:
Lesson #1: We Are Privileged To Serve.
When you become ill for an extended period of time, you realize how much you have taken good health for granted. When you lie down on your bed day in and day out, and you can’t get up and do much because you are too sick in your body or too sick in your mind, you realize what a privilege it is to get up and SERVE!
May we never forget that we are privileged to serve! While we have life and health, we are privileged to serve God. We are privileged to serve our precious family members. We are privileged to serve by doing our best at our place of employment, either as employers or as employees. We are privileged to serve others in the body of Christ. We are privileged to do our best at school. We are privileged to serve God by being a blessing to others. We are privileged to serve God however and wherever God wants us to serve, with deep JOY and GRATITUDE TO GOD, and always by God’s grace! May the song of our heart always be: I WILL SERVE GOD AS LONG AS I LIVE, and I WILL PRAISE GOD FOREVER! Amen!
Psalm 63:4, NLT I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
Psalm 103:2, NLT Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. See also: 10 Bible Verses that Remind Us To Be Thankful; Bible Verses about Attitude of Gratitude; Bible Verses about Serving God and Others; Whatever you do, do it with all your heart.
Lesson #2: Times, Seasons & People Change, But God’s Love Is Forever.
Again and Again, I have been reminded that times and seasons come and go – everything is subject to change! Times change. Seasons change. People change. Beliefs change. Priorities change. Finances change. Expectations change. Stocks change. Things change. Life changes! Even I have changed in many ways, and I know that I will still change in the future!
The only thing that remains constant, that never ever changes, is God’s unfailing love for us. God is the only one we can absolutely put our confident trust in, and we can never go wrong putting our trust in God! God is with us always, and He is FAITHFUL, UNCHANGING, and STEADFAST! God is not fickle, God does not lie, God does not go back on His word, God’s love never runs out, and God does not change! WE CAN ALWAYS RELY ON GOD! So I am reminded to never put my ultimate trust in anything or anyone other than God!
I am also reminded not to take anything in life too seriously, because really, everything in life is subject to change! Our part is to keep Trusting God one day at a time, Keep on living in the present, Enjoy what you have while you have it, Keep being a blessing to others by God’s grace, and to be quick to obey God! I am also reminded to REJOICE, because even though Times, Seasons and People may change, God’s love remains the same! Praise God!
Isaiah 54:10, NIV Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Psalm 118:8, KJV It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Trust God Not Man!)
Psalm 52:8, NIV But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.
Lesson #3: God will work it out in your favor.
Life can get tough sometimes, and some things will throw us for a loop. When we don’t understand, may we always trust and believe that God will work it out for your good! May we always remember that God doesn’t necessarily cause bad things to happen, but God can turn EVERYTHING that happens to us around for good! May we always remember that God’s plans for us are always good! May we always remember that no one who hopes in God will be put to shame! May we always remember that IT ENDS WELL! Please, Don’t lose heart! God is working, and GOD WILL WORK IT OUT! See also: Trusting God in the midst of the storm; Trusting God one day at a time.
Psalm 25:3, NIV No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.
Jeremiah 29:11, NIV For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Psalm 119:10, ESV With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!
Isaiah 49:23b, NIV Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who hope in me will not be disappointed. (Praise God!)
