Overcome Evil with Good
Don’t be overcome by anger and hatred, even in the face of evil. When we allow anger, bitterness, resentment and hatred to fester, it spreads like a poison within us – giving an opportunity to the devil to affect other areas of our lives, our relationships, work, health, emotions, etc. By the grace of God, may we never be overcome by evil. May we instead always overcome evil with good, by the grace and power of God. Amen.

Yes, we will all get angry from time to time. But we are not to sin in our anger, or hold on to anger and bitterness. God gets angry too, but He doesn’t treat us the way we deserve in His anger.
