Whatever we do, eating, drinking wine or anything else, In all that we do – we should do in moderation, and always to the glory of God. Every day is God’s gift – So we should definitely enjoy life, food and drink, but we should never do anything in excess or do anything that will not glorify God. We should also not do anything that causes others to fall. We should not get drunk on wine or alcohol, but we should instead be filled with God’s Holy spirit.

If you have the tendency or the inclination to over-drink, you should definitely stay away from wine altogether – Don’t let alcohol, wine, beer lead you astray and make you foolish! Drinking or Getting drunk on alcohol, wine or strong drinks should certainly not be a habit of people who want to think clearly and make rational decisions – See Proverbs 31:4-6 below. There are so many other beverage options that you can grow to enjoy even more that alcohol, eg Delicious Juice, Malt Drinks, etc – But even those should be in moderation, as always. And we should certainly not eat too much – everything in moderation!
