We Are Citizens Of Heaven (Bible Verses). Live As Citizens Of Heaven.

We Are Citizens Of Heaven (Bible Verses). Live As Citizens Of Heaven.

Good Morning, Dear Friends!

Today’s post is short and sweet. It’s an important reminder to us all that we are citizens of heaven ~ we are representatives of Christ! Let’s live like we know that we are citizens of heaven. Let’s live like we believe that this world is not our home. Let’s live like we truly believe that God is for us!

Bible Verses:

Philippians 3:18-21, NLT For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. 20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

PRAYER:
Thank you Lord for the important reminder that we are citizens of heaven, and that as Christians, we represent you here on earth. Thank you for the reminder that life is temporary. Thank you for wholeheartedly accepting us as your children, and making us citizens of heaven!

Please help us to follow God wholeheartedly in everything we say and do, including living a life of love. May our lights continually shine bright, leading others to your Light. May we all be agents of God’s love, grace and mercy. May the love of God radiate from our lives, impacting countless lives for your glory.

Amen & Amen.
