God doesn’t care about your past

Dear Friends ~ more likely than not,
You have made many mistakes.

You have made many unwise decisions and poor choices.

You have sinned and fallen short.

You have done things that you deeply regret and really wish you could go back and undo.

You have said things you really wish you could unsay.

You have done things that you are ashamed of, and made decisions that in retrospect, were not the best.

You may have beaten myself up over your mistakes, telling yourself – you should have known better!

This morning, please be reminded to not be so hard on yourself!

Please be reminded to stop criticizing yourself!

Please be reminded that God Is Faithful To His Promises. God is not lying when He says He will forgive our transgressions and not remember them anymore, if we confess our sins to God! (1 John 1:9)

Please be reminded that God doesn’t condemn you!

God is not lying when He says that NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GODThere is NO mistake or bad decision that God cannot turn around for His glory!
Please read that again and let it sink in!!!

Mistakes are opportunities for growth, and God can bring beauty from even our most terrible mistakes!

Nothing is too hard for GodAll power belongs to God!

Please be reminded that even as you believe that God can use other people’s mistakes, missteps and unwise decisions for good and for His glory, HE CAN AND WILL DO THE SAME FOR YOU!

Please be reminded to encourage yourself in the Lord and to build yourself up continually, just as you strive to continually encourage others and build each other up!

Brothers and Sisters, God is able! God has the power to turn situations around and cause all things to work out for good! This includes ALL of our mistakes, missteps, sins, setbacks, and unwise decisions! When we keep beating ourselves up over things we have done in the past, we are inadvertently undermining God’s authority, power and ability to cause everything to work out for good. God forbid!

Encouraging Bible Verses:
Romans 8:1, ESV There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

John 3:17, ESV For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

1 John 3:20, ESV For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.

Psalm 103:13-14, NIV As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

Psalm 46:10, NIV He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Dear Friends, I pray this post and all the accompanying scriptures are a blessing and an encouragement to you and yours!

Prayer For Today
Dear Lord, please help us to stop beating ourselves up over mistakes and poor choices we have made. Help us to stop beating ourselves up over the past. May we release all self condemnation and wholly embrace your love, mercy and grace. May we be transformed by your unfailing love and forgiveness, and may we also extend kindness, grace and forgiveness to others in our daily walk. Thank you Lord, for the peace and hope we have in you. Thank you God, for everything. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
