I Put My Trust In God. I Put My Trust In Jesus. I Put My Trust In You Lord!

Good Morning, Dear Friends!
As we continue our journey through Inspirational Psalms and Proverbs, I wanted to share Psalm 25 with you. Friends, this psalm is chuck full of solid encouragement. We are reminded that our hope is in God, and no one who hopes in God will ever be put to shame. It also includes an encouraging prayer for God’s guidance and direction. We are once again reminded that humility is the key to success, as we rely and thrive on God’s mercy, God’s kindness and God’s faithfulness. Yes, God is faithful to his promises, and God’s unfailing love is always with us.

Our hope is in God – We will continue to put our trust in God every day! By His mercy, kindness and grace, we will never be put to shame – AMEN.

Psalm 25:1-2, NIV In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.

Psalm 25:3, NIV No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.

Psalm 25:4-5, NIV Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. See also: 10 Bible Verses That Promise God’s Guidance.

Psalm 25:6-7, NIV Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good.

Psalm 25:8-9, NIV Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

Psalm 25:10-11, NIV All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your name, Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

Psalm 25:12-13, NIV Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose. They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.

Psalm 25:14-15, NIV The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare.

Psalm 25:16-18, NIV Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish. Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.

Psalm 25:20-21, NIV Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you. (Amen!)

Prayer:
Dear Lord, We put our trust in you! We put our hope in you! We put our faith and utmost confidence in you! Please renew our strength day by day, and help us to continually trust you with all of our hearts. May your name be glorified in all of our lives today and always, Amen.
