Dear Friends, Today I am being reminded that God wants us to know him.

Yes, God wants you to know him and God wants you to understand him.

God wants us to know and understand that he is “The Lord who demonstrates unfailing love, and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth.”

Jeremiah 9:23-24, NLT This is what the Lord says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the Lord, have spoken!

God wants us to know him. God wants us to love him and love others.
Hosea 6:6, ESV For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

Mark 12:28-31, NIV One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Hebrews 11:6, ESV And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

God wants us to know that He is a God of Love, Justice and Righteousness.
Jeremiah 9:24, ESV but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD.”

Micah 6:8, ESV He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
