Satan’s Distractions ~
The enemy is always trying to drag us away from God’s will for us. If he doesn’t succeed by making us sin against God by falling into temptation, he will try his best to distract us by keeping us busy doing seemingly good things. If that doesn’t work, he will try to worry and anxiety, fear, and discouragement.

Yes, Satan wants to keep us discouraged so that we cannot realize our full potential in God. The enemy is terrified of who he knows we have the potential of becoming, and what he knows God can do in us and through us, with our cooperation. If discouragement doesn’t keep us down, satan will try to keep us busy busy busy with distractions, so that we have no time for God!

Friends, do you realize that WORRY is a destructive and useless distraction? Instead of worry, let us by God’s grace think about “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8, NIV)
