Thoughts (Scroll down for Verses!)
Martha’s busyness in Luke 10:38-42 is a great example of being too busy for God – while doing a good thing! Dear Friends, a good idea is not necessarily always a God idea. Martha was so busy serving that she inadvertently became too busy for God in the flesh (i.e. Jesus). That day, Martha allowed good things to distract her from great things. May God help us to continually discern what is truly important at each point in our lives.

Scripture Verses
Luke 10:38-42, ESV Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her,” Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
May our daily lives make a positive impact on those around us, starting with our family members and those closest to us. May our schedules continually glorify God and shame the enemy. May we never be too busy for God!
