Dear Friends, Shortcuts have consequences. Shortcuts are dangerous. Abraham and Sarah found out the hard way that taking shortcuts will only get us into trouble (See Genesis 15 & 16). Yes, God will ultimately work everything out for good even when we get ourselves into trouble (Romans 8:28). However, some things are set into motion when we take shortcuts. Our actions may have far reaching consequences, possibly spanning across generations. Beware of taking shortcuts: Beware of taking the easy way out!

Shortcuts lead to poverty

Shortcuts lead to mistakes
Proverbs 19:2, ISV Furthermore, it isn’t good to be ignorant, and whoever rushes into things misses the mark.

Shortcuts may seem profitable in the short term, but they will never gets us anywhere in the long term. Better to do things God’s way!
